Heathcliff is not a beagle, but his pregnant momma was a foxhound and needed help. She came to the beagle rescue to have her pups, which turned out to be larger than she is. He was adopted and well loved but his family is now unable to care for him.

Heathcliff is a rarity in the rescue world as we know his exact birthdate (2/27/20) and his mix (50% American Foxhound, 42% Labrador Retriever, 8% Chesapeake Bay Retriever). 

He is a snuggly guy who wants to climb in your lap but is easily redirected to hang out beside you. He sleeps well in his crate.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
