Peggy is a high energy beagle mix. She can be timid in new situations and around people she doesn’t know so she may nervous pee when cornered or picked up, but she warms up quickly and loves to give kisses.
Peggy loves playing with her sister, Eliza, and enjoys playing tug and chewing on her Nylabone. She is still a puppy and has the standard puppy behaviors- trying to chew things, playful nibbling, and is still learning a lot, but does respond to the word “no” most of the time. Peggy will let you know by scratching at the door when it’s time for her to go outside. She will bark at other dogs and has some separation anxiety when her human first leaves, but settles down in a few minutes. When Peggy doesn’t like something she’ll let you know and when she’s scared she’ll jump up into your arms for protection.
Peggy doesn’t need to be adopted with her sister, but really enjoys playing with other dogs so it’s recommended that she is socialized often or is in a home with another dog.
