UPDATE: Willie Wonka, now known as Duncan, has been returned due to a change in the family's living situation. He has gained a lot of weight but we can help him with that. He walks decent on a leash, walks fast but can pull hard when he wants to stop. He very much enjoys walks. It is imperative that Duncan continue being walked every day so that he continues to lose his extra weight. Time playing only in the back yard will not be enough to continue getting him healthy. Duncan's love for toys has not changed and enjoys them very much. He gets along well with other dogs.
Duncan has a loud bark but does not use it too often.
2019 Notes: Willie Wonka is a “man’s dog”. He has that beautiful box build with big handsome feet. He is a very good boy who loves the people in his foster home and is excellent with the other dogs. He is very well behaved in the house. He doesn’t bark much and listens well. He likes to snuggle with you on the couch. He’s very good on the leash. He is crate trained. He is an excellent beagle and is well liked in his foster home by the family and guests. He loves toys and does try to hide/bury them.
