Sweet and sassy best describes Tuesday. She always enjoys affection and loves a good belly rub. As any beagle, she is very food motivated and often voices her opinion when it is time to eat. Her howl is too funny and not nearly as loud as most beagles. She's gotten a lot of "extra love" through food in the past and her foster is working on toning down her begging when her owner is eating. She also can get a bit feisty with her foster siblings if she is begging for food and should be crated for her meals. Her begging behavior has improved in a short time (she dislikes a little squirt of water when she is getting too pushy). The food motivation has worked in her favor when it comes to the crate. It is not her favorite place but she does happily get in for food. At her age she is more than happy to take lengthy naps on her favorite cot. Although she can be a bit stiff in the hips, she gets around pretty well and can even overdo it howling and hopping around after the squirrel in the tree. She is well potty trained but does need more restroom trips than a younger dog. However, getting her outside in even rainy conditions is not a problem since she really enjoys sniffing and poking around the yard.
