Bucaneer is very good with my cat and with the other two beagles that I have. His tail is usually wagging and he likes to lay on the carpet right in front of the couch (I even think he sneaks a peak at the TV from time to time.)  He doesn't try to jump on the furniture or chew what he shouldn't.  He loves rawhide bones and seems content with them. He is good in the crate.  When I left for church yesterday and came home, he was sitting quietly, not crying or barking and didn't seem to be in any distress.   Sleeps fine -- no barking or whining.   So far he's only barked when he was outside and was ready to come back in.   
 
VERY sweet and affectionate and follows me around the house.
