Polly was just picked up from a shelter and what we've seen so far is SWEET! She came up to us immediately for some attention and pets. She is checking out the house and yard and already struck up a friendship with the lab Marvin ;)
More to come as we get to know her.
Update 3/18/09 Well, Polly has turned out to be quite the lovable beagle girl. She is very quiet and possibly the sweetest dog I've ever met. She loves affection and will come up and put her paws on anyone who will pet her. She loves to held and snuggled.
Polly is housebroken and she will sleep in a crate at night but, we have found it not to be necessary.
She does enjoy human companionship and that of the other dogs. I think she would do best if there were other dogs in her new home because she really does not like to be left alone.
Polly is heartworm positive and will be treated prior to adoption.
