Cindy’s laid back, sweet temperament makes her a wonderful dog for your home! She is really mellow and even-keeled and slept most of the day in her foster home.  She enjoys playing fetch with plush toys and then curling up next to them in her dog bed.  She does not like crates and prefers sleeping in a dog bed next to her foster mom.  She separates easily from her foster mom, but when her foster Mom comes in the room, her tail starts wagging and she rolls on to her back for belly rubs.

She likes to run and explore outside, but even in a fenced in yard needs a close eye on her because she does like to try to escape.  She walks well on a leash, but she does like to stop to sniff everything like most beagles do.

Inside, she responds to her name, and if you sit on the floor, she will try to be a lap dog, even at 28 pounds!  Her facial expressions tell all and her foster mom got a big kick out of her personality.  She has barked at other dogs when out on walks, and once at her foster dog brother when he tried to eat her food, but other than that, you are not likely to find a dog who is any sweeter, mellower, or quieter.
