Coppers was an owner surrender to animal control. As you can imagine, he was very confused by his family leaving him there. The family did say he was good with kids.
He is crate trained and house-broken. To signal he is ready to come into the house, Coppers scratches on the door. He also knows his name and will come running to see who is calling him. 
Coppers is an exuberant fellow that loves to play and get attention. He is a large guy that does not know his size. He will quickly roll over on his belly for a belly rub or climb up on your lap for a little lovin. 

Coppers has lost over 15 pounds with the help of his foster family and now has an additional spring in his step.  Won't you give this big fellow a home? 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
