10/11/17 Update: Aphrodite is shy, but coming around very quickly. Took a couple days, but now she's jumping up and down in excitement when it's dinnertime. She goes to the sliding door and whines when she needs to go outside. Next step - teaching her how to use the doggie door. Very quiet, easy dog. 


Aphrodite is a beautiful, sweet girl. She is fearful at first, but comes around slowly. Her temporary foster in Tallahassee says that Aphrodite has such a cute personality! She is good with the cat and three other beagles in her foster home. She is shy at first with people, but then loves snuggling on the sofa and getting belly rubs. Aphrodite may take longer than the usual beagle to adapt to a new home and family, so will need a patient and loving home. Could you love Aphrodite? She will love you.
