Beagle : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
Copper came to the rescue as a last chance after struggling in a shelter. He is a very smart dog that needs consistent rules, boundaries and work to do. He has made great progress with his foster family and does best when his days are structured and he understands what he is supposed to be doing all the time. He has his own crate as his "place" and will need to continue to have this. He would be a great companion for someone that is active and has a job for him to do. He does get along well with other dogs in general and is not bothered living with a cat. Copper is very playful and loves to play fetch. He isn't a snuggly beagle you can hug though, that is just not him. Copper will need a special family that will be committed to working with him and provide consistant structure.
