I must have been a good girl last year because Santa keeps bringing me the great fosters!! I have Emmitt & Milton and they are both the easiest beagles (or in Milton's case--beagle/bassett) one could ask for!! Milton just follows me around the house and tries to get me to play when he thinks I have a notion to look his way. He loves my kids and is staying clear of the grouchy senior beagles! Milton was soooo excited to meet my husband. Because he is still a puppy he has been interested in the socks my children have left on the floor as well as a few small stuffed animals but he hasn't hurt them--just carried them around. If you are looking for a low key, easy going young beagle this IS your guy!! Milton is doing really well with housetraining and is going to the door--however, I have forgotten to look a few times and he has had accidents. We will try to get this solved quickly!
3/9/07 I can say now Milton is crate trained--but NOT housetrained yet! Sorry, folks! He is working hard but if not taken out on a regular schedule he will pee in the house.
