Benny, a beagle mix with beautiful green eyes, should be nicknamed “Love Bug” because he’s a sweetie. He is friendly with other dogs while on a walk, shows little interest in the neighborhood cat and lets children pet him.
 
Benny hasn’t had any accidents in the house, rarely barks and spends most of the day sleeping. He is walking better now that he wears a harness but he still pulls when he sees another dog or smells something great. He rides calmly in the car, tolerates a bath, sleeps well in his crate, accepts being picked up and doesn’t beg for food. He sits for a treat and is learning the command, “Stay.” And Benny loves to end his day cuddling with you on the couch or getting his belly rubbed.
 
Benny needs to be in a home with another canine companion as he doesn’t like being left alone.
