Sherman is a lovely little lemon beagle that was found by a good samaritan.  Efforts to find his owners were unsuccessful but we suspect poor Sherman did not have a great home life there anyway.  Initially very scared of being inside and of any loud noises and sudden movements, Sherman could overcome his fears if you sat still and let him approach you.  He soaked up affection, but needed to be sure it was safe.

Outside, he really seems happy to sniff and chase lizards and sunbathe.  Over time, he has become much more accustomed to hanging out with his people inside and is getting the hang of house training.  He loves his crate and is learning to play with toys.

Sherman will need a family that is patient and gentle and allows him to build trust and become comfortable.  We are certain that Sherman will continue to grow into a happy, confident companion!
