Duncan is very smart - he learned his new name in less than a few hours. Duncan came to us with some training and is obedient. He comes when called, lets us know when he wants to go out, and finds a dog bed when told to "Go Lie Down". Duncan loves to explore the backyard, go for to walks and go for car rides. He also loves to nap and snores loudly. We are discovering new things about his personality every day. The other day, we went for a walk and a car back fired, which sounded like a gun shot, and Duncan excited and howled ready to go hunting - so we think he may have been a hunting dog. He is not a fan of the crate, so he is vocal for a little while when we leave. He won't howl and bark when he gets exercise. Duncan would do great with almost any family with older children. He just wants to be loved.
