Chopper III got his name because the poor little guy is missing half his tail! We have no idea how that may have happened, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. Add in his beautiful coloring (some might call him a "blue" beagle" and happy smile and he is quite the character!
This guy was so happy for his freedom ride! He trotted out of animal control with a huge smile and put his paws right up in the lap of his rescuer. And he LOVED his ride to his foster home. In his foster home, he has shown to be housebroken, knows how to use the doggie door and does well in a crate. He gets along ok with his puppy family members and isn't bothered by the cat. He also seems to be polite around food and is a slow eater. Imagine that!
Chopper loves human attention and enjoys hanging out on the sofa or the bed with someone. He particularly likes sleeping in on the weekend with the teenagers in the house.
Chopper III will do best in a home with no small children.
