Gracie is an adorable, cuddly, and playful young Beagle mix who is full of energy and love.  She loves to play with her foster sister.   She is great at entertaining herself with the dog toys. She pulls each one from the toy basket and will play with them all at the same time!  

Gracie enjoys to sniff around the yard, play with toys and other dogs. She gets along with dogs and children. She loves to run and jump, you would swear she has springs in her back legs!  Her foster parents have nicknamed her "Jumping Bean" because of how high she can jump and fast she can run!  

Gracie has a fear of certain men. There isnt a ryhme or reason on the characteristic of the man She is fearful of.  She needs constant socialization with new people/neighbos or her fearfulness will become worse. She recently showed leash aggression, but has improved with confidence training and walking with the Halti lead. 

Gracie would be great for a family that is willing to put time in to train her and exercise her.  
Gracie needs a yard with at least a 6 foot fence that is not chain linked. She jumps really high and her feet our small enough to climb a chain link.  She is great with other dogs and children, but not cats. She is obsessed with the feral cats near her foster home, and will chase them if ever given the chance. She would jump a fence just to get to one.  Gracie is looking for a forever home that has the time to spend on training, exercise, and play time.

If interested in Gracie, please bring all members of family and especially any men that will be in her life (i.e. Dog sitter or extended family or friends) to make sure she is not fearful. Proper introduction is imperative for her.
