Duo is just an adorable, happy, spunky little beagle boy.  It is a mystery how this great boy found himself at animal control.

We believe Duo is only about a year old and is still working on manners.  It is likely that his original owner just never worked with him and found the energy and training needs of a young dog to be too much to handle.  But with some consistency and rules, he quickly picked up on house training.  He also understands what proper toys are for chewing, but should continue to be monitored and set up to succeed in that regard.

Duo is naturally very curious and will follow his people anywhere and everywhere around the house.  He likes his time outside but would prefer to be where the people are!  He behaved nicely on the leash and would benefit from continued training.

Duo's curiousity leads to him putting his paws on counters and people and he likes to enthusiastically jump up for greetings and onto the furniture for a snuggle.  A house with small children will need to be mindful that he is still learning boundaries and expectations.

We believe that Duo will make a wonderful addition to just about any family that understands he is still learning.  He really is a great dog and probably will not be around long so come to an event and meet him ASAP!
