This beautiful Lemon Beagle boy is a hit everywhere he goes. Sammy is mostly Beagle with just the right amount of Bassett added for good measure! He is super sweet and so photogenic! The smiles just don't stop.

It is a real mystery why this boy was ever dumped in the woods.  He has made himself comfortable in his foster home without issue.  He is house trained, does well in a crate, gets along great with his fur friends, and plays with them or self-entertains with toys until he falls asleep. He knows his name as Sammy and comes when he is called and also figured out to get in his crate at meal time after only 2 days!  

Sam also has a unique quality - he doesn't seem to care to get on the furniture. Every now and then he will hop up on the couch in the height of a good game of chase or when he is dying for a snuggle but usually he finds comfort in the pet bed or bean bag chair. He loves attention and even sat patiently and appreciatively to have his ears cleaned.

Sammy does have a good energy level and has been known to snag a sock or two from the laundry but he is an overall joy.  He will need a family ready to interact and enjoy his personality as well as provide some outlets for his energy.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
