3/19/2014: Romeo couldn't be sweeter! He follows his foster mom around, looking up with those big brown eyes, always looking for a snuggle. He is on a strict diet but takes it in stride - he never complains. Romeo loves to go for walks and keeps up with the pack. He would be an easy addition to your family. 2/15/2014: Poor Romeo finds himself back with TBBR after seven years in an adoptive home. He was so handsome when he was adopted -- fit and trim. He was overfed and underexercised. When he came back in February, he weighed a wopping 46.8 lbs, and he had difficulty breathing and walking. The good news is that he has already lost six lbs. and he is with a foster who is experienced with helping dogs get down to a healthy weight. Romeo, at 9, is still a lover. He loves to have his belly rubbed. He enjoys his walks and with each pound that he loses, he has more energy. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and sleeps well in his crate, although he would do just as well in a doggie bed. He will make a wonderful addition to any household.
