I'm Homer, and I'm a pirate -- a one-eyed love machine ready to steal your heart. Some bucaneer tried to make me walk the plank, but I survived with only losing part of my tail.

Comments from my foster Mom: Homer is a loveable boy. He has the softest coat, and he loves to be close to his humans. He has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks/runs. He gets along well with his other foster buddies, sometimes even sharing a doggie bed or a crate with one. Homer needs to be in a household where he will not be left for too long -- perhaps someone who works from home or a retired couple, who come and go during the day. We have left him up to five hours in his crate, and he has done fine. We always give him a good treat to keep him busy, e.g., a filled marrow bone or kong. Homer has a lot of love to give and is a wonderful companion.
