Macy was a loyal companion to her family for years but then surrendered to the shelter when she got sick. It's been a heartbreaking experience for her because she was very attached to her people.
Macy is now in an wonderful foster home ad getting lots of love from the people as well as the senior pit and kitten in the home. She just adores kids and laps up all the attention she can manage.
Macy is completely housetrained. She prefers to sleep next to you in the bed but will settle for a dog bed right next to you. She follows her foster mom room to room. She loves to walk and is good on the leash.
Macy came in very obese and her fabulous foster family has worked hard to get her weight down so we will try for better pictures now. She just weighed in at 25 pounds! She has struggled with ear infections so we are working hard to clear those up.
Macy is a real sweetheart and gets along very well with other dogs. She would love a forever home where she will be treated as the princess she is.
