If you love to cuddle, Jupiter (or Pops as we sometimes call him) is the dog for you. 

He has come such a long way being rescued. Jupiter came into the rescue with heartworms. :( He has been treated, but he needed to continue being treated for a cough. It has gotten so much better with the use of medication (some days we have not heard any) and we are looking forward to the day he will totally cough-free.  

Jupiter also started medication for his thyroid and that has helped him tremendously too. You can see by his picture above that he is a very handsome boy with his slimmer physique. Luckily the thyroid medicine is very inexpensive. 

When Jupiter came to his foster parent's home he did not play with toys at all. Since his health has improved greatly, he has discovered the joy of soft squeaky toys and will carry them around the house. 

He could not be more lovable. Jupiter wants to cuddle and love on someone all the time. He is gentle and sweet and would do well in any home. His favorite thing in the whole world besides food is to have his belly rubbed.
